About the
CHARLES STREET project

We transformed a 100-year-old character home in Vancouver’s Grandview Woodlands while prioritizing sustainability.

  • Increased Density: The renovation allows the home to house two families, optimizing land use and fostering a sense of community.
  • Open and Bright: The interior layout has been reimagined with an open floor plan that maximizes natural light and promotes a modern living experience.
  • Seamless Connection: A 12-foot wide sliding glass wall showcases views of the landscaped yard, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Outdoor Haven: We’ve added a sustainable deck, expanding opportunities for outdoor relaxation and entertainment.
  • Sustainable Approach: Throughout the project, we’ve employed eco-conscious practices, materials, and energy-efficient technologies.
  • Harmony of History and Modernity: Our design preserves the home’s heritage while embracing contemporary living, setting a new standard for sustainable architecture.
